Moisture Mapper is the product of years of water damage experience and project management by Craig Fillmann and Ellen Paladino.
Seeing a need for a clear, repeatable documentation system that could be accessed from anywhere Craig and Ellen started Moisture Mapper in 2005. Since then we have grown to become the industry leader in water damage software through constant upgrades and improvements. We pride ourselves on attention to customer service and responsiveness to customer requests. We look forward to doing business with you!
Meet the team:
Craig Fillmann - President: Craig is the founder of Moisture Mapper International, Inc, a company focused on the standardization of the water damage restoration process. The standardization procedures include the use of proprietary web-based software which provides repeatable quality job management for users and an analysis tool for the insurance industry.
Craig's past professional experience include a significant water damage restoration experience as the founder of the first major water damage restoration service company in the US and Canada. More recently, he has large loss project management experience with a major restoration company during hurricanes Hugo, Charley, Frances and Katrina.
He served with the Navy from 1968 to 1995, and retired as a Captain. He graduated from Nasson College, with a BA in Economics and Business, from the University of Southern California with a MS in Systems Technology, and from the Incentive International School of Management Program in Sweden.
Craig is currently focusing on the acceptance and use of standard water damage restoration procedures, and serves as the President of Moisture Mapper International, Inc. in Lawrence, MA.
Dennis McMann - General Manager: Dennis has been involved with computer software since 1967 when the Army assigned him to NSA headquarters at Fort Meade, MD, to help build a new computer. Back in civilian life he worked as a computer operator, programmer, systems analyst, and systems engineer before joining Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) where he held positions in Software Support, Marketing, and Product Management before becoming a Software Engineering Manager, then Group Manager. After the acquisition of DEC by Compaq, then by HP, he retired. Then he did some consulting for the National Archives before joining Moisture Mapper in 2007. Dennis is also Vice President of his local Rotary Club and an avid sailor.
Ellen Paladino - Office Manager: Ellen is one of the founders and Principles of Moisture Mapper. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the water damage industry and brings her skills to the management of Moisture Mapper International, Inc
Ellen has spent over 25 years working in and owning water damage companies. In her various positions in these companies, Ellen developed an expertise in the administration, marketing and business development activities in the startup and growth of these companies. Additionally, she is widely recognized throughout the industry as the result of her participation in trade shows and business management training activities
She is a graduate of Katherine Gibbs, and is the glue that holds the operation together
Bret Sheeley - Lead Web Designer: A graduate of Merrimack College (B.S. Physics w/minors in Computer Science/Mathematics) and the Florida Institute of Technology (M.S. Space Sciences), Bret has decades worth of experience programming in C/C++, Fortran 77, Perl, PHP, HTML, Javascript, and many other languages. His web design has also been backed by years of layout experience using both QuarkXPress and InDesign as a college newspaper layout editor and the head of layout for a 300+ page gaming supplement currently up for award consideration. Prior to working for Moisture Mapper International, Inc, Bret worked as a military contractor for an Air Force satellite communication outage forecasting system.
Carey Bergeron - Environmental Attorney: Carey is a practicing attorney specializing in the design and construction field. Carey provides Moisture Mapper International, Inc. with legal review and advice dealing with the documentation and reporting processes associated with Moisture Mapper software. Prior to her affiliation with Moisture Mapper International, Inc. Ms. Bergeron developed and managed the risk management program of a large insurance company specializing in professional liability policies for architects and engineers. Additionally, she has experience representing clients from all aspects of the construction field including developers/owners, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, design builders, and subcontractors. Ms. Bergeron frequently gives seminars nationwide on risk management topics.
Ms. Bergeron also holds a B.S in chemical engineering and practiced in the engineering and environmental fields for several years prior to becoming an attorney.
